Hydraulic Wear Rings or Guide Rings or Wear Strip is cut to length to allow for the fabrication of custom rings. These are designed and fabricated to guide the piston and piston rod of a hydraulic cylinder, restricting lateral movement, absorbing transverse forces and ensuring smooth cyclic motion and preventing any metal to metal contact. This improves the performance of hydraulic system.

Any metal to metal contact inside a cylinder will damage the sealing surfaces and cause inevitable seal damage and definite failure. The selection of right ring for a particular application is vital to ensure correct cylinder functionality & to prevent excessive cylinder wear and damage and in maximizing the life of the sealing elements.
